Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on A&E's reality series 'StorageWars.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz who was her boyfriend who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. Storage lockers, which are rented out to tenants who had not paid rent in over three months will be auctioned off on this reality show. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction hoping to purchase storage units at low prices. They didn't realize that the show would actually create reality-TV stars from the couple! They were very diplomatic when it came to their requests during the entire show and became one of the main actors. It was their triumph on reality TV that helped boost businesses. Apart from operating their shop, they opened a second one. The popularity of their "Storage Wars" show led to a spinoff series called 'Brandi and Jarrod Married to the Job, with a focus on the couple.
